How would you use up four buckets of sidewalk chalk?

School -that is the regular kind -starts here on September 2nd and with it, Maya will enter kindergarten. A big move for her that she had been looking forward too until last Thursday, the last day of her preschool program. It was then she learned she will be minus her "pals" -all her friends from her preschool program and now, she doesn't want to go to kindergarten after all, or so she says.
But the chalk -around here, Maya could go through that in nothing flat! And the sidewalks would all be totally chalked over in wild, glorious colors!
Peace.

Where's my candy?

Will be forwarding this ultra creative game to my kiddos. We have one WEEK before school starts and I no longer have any hair left on my head to pull, or any other hairy parts of my anatomy, if you get my drift.

Luv the big die!

I wanna come plaaay!!! What a creative idea!

Oh, and I hopped over to YouTube so I could watch the video fullscreen and what did I find? Two other cute videos that have not yet made an appearance in blog world!

Such an adorable family!

I live in the exact same kind of neighborhood. Of late I have to be careful to close my garage door if I have something to accomplish. Otherwise a cute and precocious 6-year old appears in my kitchen to "help." Which is okay sometimes, just not all the time.

That's great that their using their imagination that way!

I would use the chalk to draw giant murals on the ground.

Creative does not even begin to describe it.

Love the long drawn-out closing. "Okay, bye!"

I don't remember being big into chalk, but one of my favorite things to do with chalk was to rub it over a big spot so that I could cover my hands in the dust. I may have also eaten chalk once... or twice.

THAT ROCKS. Our neighbourhood is choc full o kids and they all play together (at least the ones in close proximity to us). I love it. The kids love it. I will have to do this with our chalk. Groomeo is a keeper and dang it, Paco is the spitting image of him.
